An employer is looking for a Communications Network Engineer to join the team supporting the Point Loma, CA Naval Bases. Duties will include evaluating communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Additional duties include administering LAN/BAN/WANs, scheduling conversions and cutovers, and coordinating with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer-integrated networks.
