Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Summary: The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for researching, resolving, and coordinating escalated issues for Pharmacy Network Management. This position conducts issue research, coordinates pharmacy and network responses and provides direction on issue and process improvement.
Responsibilities • Document, track, and escalate open pharmacy and network issues to ensure completion by teams in a timely fashion • Perform reviews of cases based on compliance, service level agreements, and regulatory guidance to assist in answering concerns and prevention of errors • Evaluate business impact of issues and solve problems based on understanding of how systems and processes work and how they are applied in the business • Assist in coordinating meetings, gathering information and research, and providing responses for pharmacy and network escalated issues • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work; HS diploma or equivalent GED required • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications • Team player, comfortable with fast paced, changing environment and ambiguity • Strong communication skills, verbal, written and presentation, with the ability to communicate information in a manner that promotes credibility and facilitates the resolution of different views • Ability to understand issues and review for solutions • Ability to collaborate with leaders and teams to resolve complex business issues • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Preferred Qualifications • PBM/health care experience
Minimum Physical Job Requirements • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision
Reporting Structure • May report to a Sr Professional or Manager in the Network Management department
