Responsibilities
Perform hands-on software design and developmentArchitect solutions to novel problemsWork closely with multiple game studios to develop commercial gaming applicationsWrite unit tests and perform peer design/code reviewsProvide technical solutions to complex problems and write technical documentsWork closely with requirements engineers to estimate and developed to quality productsPromote high quality and timely completion of projectsMentor and help grow junior members of the engineering teamWork with onsite and remote teamsStrive for continuous improvement in efficiencyDesign and develop tooling that will drive efficiency in workflows.Deliver top quality feature rich software on time on budgetHigh level team leadership skillsAbility to multi tasks in both in development and managerial taskQualifications
10+ years of development experienceComputer Science Bachelor's degree, College degree or equivalent experienceProficiency in C++, C#Knowledge of software debugging toolsGood understanding of Object-Oriented ProgrammingPriority consideration will be given to candidates with familiarity design patterns, code quality, and unit testingPreferred:
Solid experience with version control systemsGame development experienceFamiliarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshootingMust be able to pass a security investigationFamiliarity with popular game enginesExperience with build automation tools like JenkinsKeys to Success

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $71,000 - $165,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses . In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
