Job Description:

This individual would deliver the highest quality customer service, while they identify, troubleshoot, implement and/or maintain various aspects of our client's IT environments. As such, the ideal candidate will possess an excellent troubleshooting skill set, a high level of technical knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

You will be providing hands-on, onsite support to clients as escalation and project work requires. We will rely on your support to resolve technical requests, incidents, problems, and answer questions from clients involving their hardware, software, network, and telecommunication systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating documentation regarding client environments.

Responsibilities:

Install, monitor, troubleshoot, and support client network infrastructure and equipment.Work to resolve critical client outages.Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve client requests, incidents, and problems as necessary.Maintain client documentation.Key onsite support responsibility for escalated tickets from the Service Desk.Identify customer technical risk and collaborate with internal teams appropriately.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.Required Skill set:

5+ years of experience working in an IT service delivery environment, including management and configuration of server and network hardware.Experience using a ticketing system, documentation system, and remote management application.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills over the phone, via email, and in person.Desire and self-motivation to learn and grow as an engineer.Ability to troubleshoot and research issues independently to fix problems.Strong network, hardware, and software support knowledge.Attention to detail, including note-taking and time tracking.Can easily adapt to working independently and engaging in collaborative teamwork.Qualifications:

Experience working in an enterprise Windows environment: AD, Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022.

Working knowledge of NTFS best practices including share and security permissions.Working knowledge and comfort with common Group Policies such as password expiration, drive mapping, and printer deployment.

Working knowledge of Office 365 complexities including Conditional Access, MFA, Intune Endpoint Manager, and user setup.Advanced understanding of network basics including routing, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, and how these interact with an Active Directory-based environment.

Working knowledge of how to configure and troubleshoot VLAN environments.

At least one relevant technical certification (CompTIA Network+, Security+, ITIL, Microsoft, etc.) or related degree/background experience.

Self-study, hands-on experience, or home-lab experience is a plus.

Familiarity with other Operating Systems such as macOS, iOS, and Android.Valid US Driver's License and stable form of transportation.Not Required, but bonus points if you have experience with:

Duo MFACCH, Intuit, and other accounting-specific softwareSonicWALL firewalls, Netgear switches, and Unifi Network applicationStructured cablingNIST 800-171 and other compliance frameworks
