Roles and Responsibilities:
The role requires a flexible, senior/lead engineer who is capable of managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Manage the P1/P2 MIM bridges and handle customer escalations. Should be flexible and instrumental in addressing customer expectations in business & non-business hours efficiently. Deploy Network infrastructure and execute services covering the installations, testing, cutover, migration and troubleshooting.Responsibility for various stages of the network operations and development. This may include: design, analysis, configuration, testing and fixing issues with the network infrastructure or application componentsResponsible for patch management, driving code updates, inventory management.To assist in the planning, design, and implementation, of data network projects.Provide technical support for projects as requiredAdvance trouble shooting on operational issues (L3 -Level)Configure and utilize a variety of network management tools ( Solarwind, Netflow)Should be able to manage the technical escalations and drive Major INC bridges.Should be able to support EST working hours, working in shifts and on-call support.Skills required:
Should have 12-14+ years of relevant experience.Strong Knowledge and hands on experience in Cisco catalyst switches and Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k etc.Knowledge and hands on experience in OSPF, ISIS, BGP, IP MPLS in enterprise or service provider networksStrong knowledge on VPNs, Authentication (TACACS, AAA, PKI), 802.1x, NAC (Cisco ISE).Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, firewalls.Must have : Very good understanding of new age technologies like
Cisco Firepower ,
ASA, Checkpoint etc
and
ZscalerMust have: Hands-on experience on F5 Load balancer (LTM, GTM)Preferred to have: Strong Knowledge on Cloud networking in Oracle cloud & Azure cloud.Good to have : Knowledge on ISE implementation, maintenance and troubleshootingCertifications:
