What you will do:In an assigned territory, partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and our techniciansMeet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new businessCompile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information, or any other lead generation source.Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns.Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products.Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans.Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI).

Qualifications:Must have:High School Diploma or equivalent5+ years of related sales experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to influence the marketAbility to travel territory dailyValid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordHVAC industry experience

Nice to have:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldExperience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking softwarePrior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contractsCommercial HVAC industry experience
