Position SummaryThe IT Enterprise Applications Support Analyst (ERP) will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization's ERP systems and processes. As the primary application support analyst in IT for the ERP, Accounting, Finance, Land, and Division Order functions, the Analyst will provide support for the following (but not limited to) systems in the Chord application portfolio:•Enertia•Quorum Execute suite (AFE Navigator, RTX)•Enersight•LeaseQuery The ideal candidate will have an appetite for learning new processes in an Upstream energy company coupled with the technical wherewithal to deliver solutions to the business for ERP systems. This individual will be responsible for triage and analysis of incidents including categorizing and prioritizing incidents, initial diagnosis, resolution of requests with solutions documented in the service catalog, escalating software deficiencies to vendor, generating ideas for potential solution, and seeing issues through to completion. As the analyst grows in experience and demonstrates resolution of complex tasks, the analyst will take on additional scope of support in additional functional areas and systems, and mentor other members of the team. This position will report to the Manager of IT Enterprise Applications and will be in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.Essential Job FunctionsSystem maintenance and supportEnsure system availability and data integrityTriage and resolve routine requests and incidents related to software in accordance with SLAs. Liaise with vendor support as neededCollaborate with end users to provide technical support and trainingIdentify trends in routine support incidents and recommend process improvementsConfiguration and process improvementConfigure software modules to align with business requirementsLead and participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancementsImplement Chord IT best practices for system configurationData analysis and developmentExtract and analyze data from on premise SQL databasesCreate meaningful extracts and reports for stakeholders and as inputs to other projectsAnalyze and develop SQL data scripts for on premise systems following change control frameworkCollaboration and documentationDocument system changes, configurations, and procedures in the internal and external IT knowledge baseProactive and effective communication with technical and non-technical users and stakeholdersLead quarterly and bi-annual SOX audit reporting and evidence request gathering for assigned scope of applicationsMentor and cross-train other team members in both technical and functional areas of expertiseMay require some travel, and/or weekend work, to support software/business prioritiesThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Incumbents will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and duties outside of their normal responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience supporting Enertia in an Application Support environmentMinimum of 3 years in the Upstream energy industryUnderstanding of Upstream business processes pertaining to key functional areas including Revenue Accounting, Division Order, Land, AFE, AP, JIB.Strong organizational and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and service-oriented mindsetInitiative in problem solvingAbility to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment, flexible with the demands of a growing companyAbility to meet deadlinesExperience working with various architectures, technical platforms, and concepts including role-based security, web services, IIS, and enterprise cloud technologiesExperience developing queries for Microsoft SQL ServerPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephoneThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
