A recognized services company in New Jersey is looking to add a new Lead Project Engineer to their team. In this role, the Lead Project Engineer will be responsible for leading technical teams on new product development projects in Power Systems and Control Actuation Systems.

Responsibilities

: Manage the technical team performance to project schedule and cost and support the program manager. Lead the new product development processes for commercial and military platforms. Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, judgment, cooperation, and ability to communicate technical information. Support new business pursuits that address program technical requirements and associated schedule and costs. Lead a technical team from the beginning to the end of a new development project. Communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently. Interface with both commercial and military customers in technical program definition and execution. Identify technical tasks and resources for projects and create engineering development plans, WBS, etc. needed to execute projects. Manage system requirements and define lower-level requirements. Oversee/review technical reports to satisfy internal and external deliverables. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering 8+ years of experience as a technical lead New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry Ability to effectively communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently Experience in executing a project from the beginning to the end Excellent Presentation skills Experience developing WBS, project plans, technical requirements Strong documentation and writing skills Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and technicians and comfortable in laboratory environment Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Must be a US Citizen
