Join us and be part of a team that has a people first mentality and a dedication to excellence.Key Tasks (Major duties and responsibilities of the position):Develop / maintain ground software for satellite data analysis, data exploitation algorithms, and/or data processing systemsPerform microservice development using PythonInterface with and help build full stack web applications using Python, Django, and cloud technologies (AWS with CloudFormation).Work with the following software development lifecycle concepts: Agile, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) making use of Jenkins, test automation, and other tools.Assist in the definition and implementation of commercial cloud-based development environment configurationsPerform unit-level software testing for all assigned features and support integration testing as applicable to those featuresProvide system administration support for the cloud-based development environments or dedicated stand-alone systems identified in the program architectureProvide leadership / mentorship of technical teamsWork collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment with both internal and external customers to maintain a positive and productive work environmentProvide tasking and technical direction to junior engineers, and review work products at multiple levelsDevelop / maintain training materialsSupport risk and opportunity assessmentsRequired Education/Certifications:BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 8 or more years related experience.The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 156,000 to 188,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
