Senior Tax Manager or Tax Manager - Real Estate

Background:Wiss is seeking to add a Sr. Manager or Manager, Tax (commensurate with experience) to our growing Real Estate Tax practice. Our Real Estate practice is experiencing significant growth through acquisition. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong compliance background with concentrated experience in partnerships and corporations.
The position will reside in our Florham Park, NJ office. We proudly offer a permanent hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Manages all aspects of the tax engagement (planning, review of tax returns and accounting, client relationships), demonstrating excellent project management skills.Supervises and reviews all related work of tax staff on assigned engagements.Demonstrates strong technical real estate tax, partnership tax, accounting, and transactional skills and effectively applies tax knowledge to client situations.Serves as a trusted consultative advisor to business owners while building client relationships through delivery of outstanding client service.Provides high quality service and timely delivery, consistently exceeding client expectations.Qualifications:/Education:
Bachelor's degree in AccountingMasters in Taxation a plusCPA or active pursuit of strongly desired6-10+ years of related real estate tax & partnership tax experienceDemonstrate polished written and verbal communicationDedication to providing superior client serviceStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environmentWiss Highlights:
