This is a remote, work from home opportunity and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area.In this role, and under general direction, the Population Health and Analytics Analyst formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.Essential Job FunctionsDesign, build, and test Applications to address complex business requestsAnalyzes business and user needs, documentation of requirements and workflowsTroubleshoot and fix complex application issuesOn-call supportGuide and mentor less-experienced Business Application AnalystsCompetent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environmentRequired QualificationsBasic SQL knowledge and databasesExperience working with claims and external payer sourcesFamiliarity with case or care management workflowsGeneral knowledge of health plan concepts and workflowsBachelors degree or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systemsHands on experience with
Arcadia (population health management software analytics)Experience with
Clinical Data Ingestion and AnalyticsEpic Healthy Planet, Epic Compass Rose, or Epic Cogito
