A competency-based curriculum coupled with trained preceptors and active mentorship capitalizes on American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Accreditation design and innovative, contemporary, and evidence-based practices.About UsNebraska Spine Hospital is nationally recognized in spinal care and the choice for complex elective spine surgeries.Located in the CHI Health Immanuel Medical Center, we are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 137 hospitals and more than 1,000 care sites across 21 states making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.Responsibilities:As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to patients receiving life-changing spinal surgeries. With a nurse to patient ratio of 1:2, you will have the time and support needed to provide the highest level of care.What You'll DoMonitor patients conditions and assess their needs.Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.As a Nurse Resident, you will have the following resources as part of this program:A comprehensive, evidence-based clinical orientation with a trained preceptorDidactic clinical content that builds on and applies your practice based learningSkills practice to help you be successful in patient care deliverySimulation practice with facility equipment and standardized procedure checklistsTransition to Practice Core Courses covering topics such as communication, leadership and evidence-based practiceInteractions with your peers for supportA mentor to encourage professional, personal and interpersonal growthQualifications:We are offering a $25,000 Sign On Bonus and up to $10,000 in student loan repayment assistance to new hires who meet the following eligibility requirements.Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program college, or universityActive Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing in the state where you live.Basic Life Support (BLS)While youre busy impacting the healthcare industry, well take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, and more!#JCMS23#CHIMSRES22
