Salary Range: $28.51 - $34.62 per hour*

JOB SUMMARY:The

Trial Logistics Specialist

is responsible for working with the firm's attorneys, clients, and professionals to support a wide range of litigation and administrative matters. The Specialist performs billable and non-billable tasks associated with case organization, discovery support and trial/arbitration support and planning. The role performs other administrative logistics projects that provide value to the firm and clients when not being utilized on billable client matters.

JOB FUNCTIONS•Implements case organizational protocols including: maintenance of electronic and hard copy documents, organizes case rooms and documents, reconciles court dockets against database materials, maintains court filings and other documents, prepares files, labels and indices, maintains and updates information for notebooks/binders/ebinders, and retrieves and re-files documents.•Partners with case teams and other colleagues to address client needs.•Maintains document and information databases including objective coding of documents, indexing of data, sorting and searching within databases and document retrieval.•Assists with court filings, including assembling motion papers, compiling case pulls and exhibits, and assisting, as needed, with filing and service requirements.•Assists with trial preparation, including compiling trial exhibits for notebooks and binders, and assembling fact and expert witness materials.•Participates in both onsite and offsite trials, implements trial logistics protocols, coordinates court deliveries, arranges courtroom set-ups, organizes war rooms, maintains supply inventories, and performs other related trial support tasks as required.•Assists with meal deliveries, equipment deployment, case room setups and wrap ups and other administrative logistics required by the trial team.•Responds in a timely manner to all requests via e-mail or telephone.•Notifies appropriate resources when there is no billable work.•Enters weekly check-ins in the Assignment Report database.•Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS1. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.2. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm, hospitality services or equivalent environment required.3. Fluency in a foreign language preferred but not required.4. Strong interest in pursuing a future legal career preferred.5. Ability to exhibit initiative in seeking work and managing workload, consistently produce high quality work product, regularly check for errors and make corrections as necessary, take ownership of projects and complete assignments in a timely fashion.6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively, direct work flow, and interact with others.7. WORKING CONDITIONSQuiet office environment in a high-rise building, seated the majority of the time. This role works in the office but may be required to work at a trial site, a client office or other alternative work location for various lengths of time.
