culture at Forvis Mazars, we would like to hear from you!How you will contribute:Providing corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of clients, assistance with ASC 740-10 (FAS 109 & FIN 48) including but not limited to calculating current/deferred taxes and tax account roll forwards, assessing valuation allowances, and calculating global tax provisions for SEC filingsWorking as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience, industries may include but not be limited to financial services, insurance, manufacturing, retail, or utilitiesConducting tax researchKeeping informed of current tax developments and effectively applying tax knowledge/research to a specific client's situationsAdvising clients and being responsible for delivering high-quality tax service and advice, including analyzing business processes and identifying ways to automate processes and/or implement improved processesAssisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffReviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniorsEffectively delegating responsibilities to others, monitoring efforts of engagement teamsWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Experience managing multiple complex client engagementsA strong sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive client serviceExcellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications:7 years or more in tax accounting, preferably with a Big Four or Regional FirmCPA certificationTax return review experienceBS in Accounting
Preferred Qualifications:Master's in Taxation or another related fieldStrong skills in Corporate Flow Through and individual tax compliance, Multi-StateTaxation (apportionment, nexus, and/or controversy resolution)CCH Axcess experienceStrong skills in tax research and writing3 years of supervisory experience
