Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Dishwasher at the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. Under direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Part Time Cook primary responsibilities included the following functions in accordance with ASM policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must have positive attitude.Reports to work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.Follows instructions for each event as given by the Executive Chef and Sous ChefWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.Prepare and package individual place settings.Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.Sweep and scrub floors.Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.Receive and store supplies.Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.Clean garbage cans with water or steam.Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.Other duties may be assigned.

The working hours are scheduled based on the needs the facility.
PART-TIME ON-CALL scheduling .There is no guarantee of hours on a weekly basis.Must have reliable transportation and be able to report to work as scheduled.Maintain a client service oriented attitude.Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays and

Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience.At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.Skills and Abilities
Ability to understand and follow directionAbility to work nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicableAbility to work in a teamPositive attitude and neat appearanceEnglish preferred as primary language, but not requiredWorking Conditions
Will be in contact with chemical cleaning agentsHazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, metal cans, scalds and burns, slipping and trippingFrequently immerses hands in water; works frequently in a hot and damp environmentOther Qualification
