We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type information into our database as per the clients provided information The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data in a timely fashion

Responsibilities

Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards and your ability to move through varying programsType in data provided directly from customersFill in spreadsheets with potentially large numbers of figures without mistakesVerify data by comparing it to source documentsUpdate existing dataRetrieve data from the database or electronic files as requestedSort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lostSkills

Proven experience as data entry clerk preferred but not requiredFast typing skillsA level of comfort with word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral deviceGood command of English both oral and written and customer service skillsGreat attention to detailJob Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
