August 29 - October 29, 2024The Medical Sciences Institute at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin seeks an interested, enthusiastic, and collegial junior or mid-career clinical faculty member to join our multidisciplinary team to provide patient care and support services for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. As a federally funded hemophilia treatment center (HTC), Versiti’s Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders (CCBD) provides diagnosis and ongoing medical and supportive care for patients with bleeding or clotting disorders.Duties include:Care of adult and possibly pediatric patients with hemophilia, severe von Willebrand disease, and rare coagulation disorders.Possibilities of administrative leadership and clinical research.Teaching and mentoring trainees from the Medical College of Wisconsin.Clinical service responsibilities in outpatient and inpatient settings.Serving as a clinical consultant for diagnostic laboratories.Participating in direct patient care and translational research.Applicants must be board-certified/eligible in hematology. Faculty members will engage in Departmental Career Development programs with a strong focus on mentorship.About the Employer
