Join us in this quest for discovery and make your mark on the world.We have an opportunity for you to use your skills to support federal health research and development (R&D) organizations, including a variety of health military and civil health agencies, for programs related to artificial intelligence and machine learning. You'll apply scientific and engineering subject matter expertise to help conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You'll characterize the state of a technical field, including identifying state-of-the-art technologies and promising new approaches. You'll perform analyses to recommend ambitious technology performance targets that are on the cutting-edge of what might be achievable. You'll identify key technical experts across academia, industry, and national labs, perform technical outreach, and facilitate the formation of new multi-disciplinary technical communities. You'll review highly technical proposals and support negotiations of selected projects, including advising on project plans and technical milestones for complex R&D projects. You'll perform direct and periodic technical oversight of the project portfolio, from set-up to close-out and assist the client with managing projects to achieve clear and compelling outcomes.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:2+ years of experience in roles using AI and ML

Experience developing experimentation plans and communicating project requirements and outcomes

Experience with cutting-edge AI techniques, such as large language models, transformer-based models, state space models, or variational autoencoders

Experience in coding languages, such as Python, R, Scala, and C++

Knowledge of AI and ML concepts, methodologies, techniques, and technologies

Knowledge of ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Huggingface, Keras, and Scikit-learn

Knowledge of cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for ML deployment

Master's degree

Nice If You Have:Experience developing novel AI and ML solutions for healthcare-related applications

Experience leading teams in the development and deployment of AI and ML solutions

Experience with synthetic data generation, augmentation, and analysis

Experience with cloud-based large data warehousing solutions and ETL, including terabyte scale

Experience in policy analysis and strategy regarding AI ethics and standards a plus

Ability to develop and convey meaningful insights, significant contributions, and recommendations to address complex client issues

Ability to learn, grow, and develop new skill sets and ask insightful questions that challenge traditional thinking

Ability to show academic publications

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Doctorate degree

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
