Position Summary:
The Software Automation Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing a strategy for automated software testing of Cadwell's applications. This role will be responsible for writing automated tests against Windows applications as well as leading existing Cadwell SDETs to implement an automation testing strategy across our products.
Key Functions / Responsibilities:In coordination with product management and the Product Quality Test Manager develop and implement a strategy to add automated testing as a part of the SDLC at Cadwell.Develop automated test suites and integrate them as part of our CI/CD pipelineProvide technical expertise to the team and mentor others as they implement automation on their productsPerform initial validation of new features and bug fixesAssist product test leads in their regular testing efforts as neededOther duties as requested, assigned, or directedEducation / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience5+ years of software development and or testing experience with 3-5 years of test automation experience using Ranorex or a similar framework.Experience testing and automating tests for Windows desktop applications (WPF and WinForms)Skills / Job Knowledge / Ability:
Advanced understanding of RanorexProficient with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and other development toolsWorking experience and good understanding of Agile product development methodologiesUnderstanding of DevOps and CI/CD best practicesProficiency in automated test frameworks and toolsProficiency with C# is a plusKnowledge of neurophysiology is a plusAble to work in a team environmentGood organizational abilitiesA passion and an eye for quality

Pay Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 per hour
