Faith Comes By Hearing is seeking an

Oral Bible Translation (OBT) Project Support Specialist

to assist in managing global OBT projects. This role supports two Vice Presidents, the OBT Administrator, Project Coordinators, and other team members in research, project set-up, budgets and pay plans, reporting, and general project coordination with partner organizations. Responsibilities include research, data entry, financial reconciliation, internal and partner reporting, project support, and overall support to grow OBT work. The ideal candidate will be missions-minded, detail-oriented, and skilled in data management, with a passion for supporting the spread of the Word of God to all people.

Responsibilities include:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESResearch languages for potential OBT projects, ensuring consistency with Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) data standards; report findings to Project Coordinators.Demonstrate mastery of internal and external language and project databases, to ensure project data is captured thoroughly and accurately.Work with Project Coordinators to set up new projects in Monday.com and Render software, prepare new scopes and assist with budget and MOU preparation. Provide support for successful project starts within specified deadlines.Work with OBT Administrator and Project Coordinators on approved budgets to create and enter monthly pay plans based on these budgets.Track travel advances and reconcile expenses vs. receipts on all expense reports submitted for OBT department staff.Assist in the maintenance of FCBH's language database for OBT purposes including information on project starts, tracking project progress and availability of audio and video Bibles in OBT languages.Assist in creating and maintaining accurate and thorough documentation regarding project budgets; maintain, collect and track data and project reports from Project Coordinators and partners; prepare information and reports for relevant OBT department staff, donors and partners. Keep all project documentation filed and organized in project folders.Assist OBT Administrator and Project Coordinators in the development of a streamlined budgeting process, approvals and renewals for OBT projects.Assist Project Coordinators in reviewing quarterly reports, reconciling project level income and expenses, and adjusting scheduled payments accordingly.Work with FCBH Accounting Department and Project Coordinators to ensure all financial transactions are handled accurately and in a timely manner.Responsible to have a full understanding of FCBH's stated mission for OBT and V2033 and how it is operational through OBT Render software, teams, partnerships, and recommend projections for scalability.Support OBT department leadership with up-to-date and accurate language data for high-level presentations, projections, and collaborations in relation to OBT.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain various systems with OBT information for ministry use in cooperation within other internal departments.Assist in developing and organizing a file management system for the OBT department.Attend meetings with visiting partners when required.Participate in relevant ongoing professional development meetings, workshops etc.Assist with setting up OBT departmental meetings including recurring meetings.Responsible for arrangement of hospitality for OBT departmental meetings and visiting guests according to the standards established by FCBH.Other duties as assigned.Requirements

Qualifications include:

Required :

Missions-minded with a heart for reaching all people with the Word of GodTwo years of experience in book-keeping, reporting and ability to handle data to extrapolate analytics.Bachelors degree; or relevant work experience.PC proficiency in all MS Office applications; proficient in Excel; able to learn new software programs.Experience at extrapolating complicated data and making it digestible to a non-technical audienceTeachable, with high emotional intelligence.Open to innovations and improvements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Well-developed organizational and administrative skills.Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving and a curiosity to explore possibilities.Preferred :

An understanding or experience in cross-cultural work.Experience in backend Bible translation, orality, related to accounting, data management etc.Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas to all levels of management and cross-culturally to various audiences.
