IT Project Manager

One of Insight Global's large Networking clients is looking to add a Project Manager to their team! Our client is a Managed-Service Networking group supporting a large Aerospace client out of Indianapolis, IN. They're looking for a Technical Project Manager who has experience with financial monitoring, management, and resource management. More specifically, actual vs budget and tracking project performance, resource utilization and understanding when to raise red flags. This person must have experience with risk and issue tracking. They also must have experience working with IT resources to create a high-level plan that is then used to translate resource usage to dollar estimates. You will be responsible for understanding customer deliverables and translating those into team dates and deliverables, and then managing those resources as appropriate to ensure that dates are met. This person must be located within a reasonable distance from Indianapolis IN with the willingness to travel to the customer site on occasion. We are looking for someone who is positive, professional, patient, and kind with a go-getter attitude. There will be times where typical work hours are more than a 40-hours/week. This will not be a traveling role outside of Indianapolis.

PMP Certification Must have experience with receiving, reading, and understanding Request for Quotes and being able to work with IT resources to create a high-level plan that is then used to translate resource usage to dollar estimate Would prefer project management experience with infrastructure, networks, including firewall, and Cisco products 5+ years of experience managing IT, preferably Network, Data Center, and/or Infrastructure projects Experience with MS Project Experience with financial monitoring, management, and resource management. Experience with managing and delivering high visibility, large, financial impacting projects within budget and on-schedule Experience understanding customer deliverables and translating those into team dates and deliverables, and then managing those resources as appropriate to ensure that dates are met. Experience managing 5+ projects at a time Must have strong experience regarding customer communications (presentation, verbal, and written), a strong customer service focus and delivery
