The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Rate Range: $60- $70/hr C2C
Job Description: As a successful Lead .NET Engineer, you will work closely with the business and IT teams to develop an efficient and comprehensive solution to Client's web systems. You will ensure the systems you work with are flexible, maintainable and compliant with all state and federal regulations. You will lead and direct a team of 4 to 8, .NET Application Analysts Responsibilities:
Define and develop high-volume, horizontally scalable architectures Evaluate new technologies for their appropriateness to proposed solutions, including assessing their strategic and/or tactical benefit Implement business and operational performance metrics into the application solutions Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, (architecture and conceptual design, requirements analysis, high level design, detailed design, coding, unit testing, integration and performance level testing) Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field 10+ years of work experience programming and designing business applications 7+ years' experience developing new REST APIs using WEB APIs 3+ years' experience with .Net and Object Oriented programming Great To Have:
Experience in developing applications using C#, .Net Core and MVC frameworks .Net application programming experience with loan servicing systems Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GITLAB and GITHUB Familiarity and experience with Bitbucket, Jira and Jenkins A background in the financial industry, (and specifically within the student loan industry)
