an experienced and growth-oriented Tax Accountant that is self-reliant and is looking for a rewarding position as part of a great team and growing firm.
RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare various business and individual tax returns including federal, state and local tax returnsWork with senior staff on review processesAssist with year end tax planningWork on individual, corporate and partnership return tax processes and financials for clientsAssist with IRS auditsRespond to government noticesActively participate in tax planning and strategies for our clientsAssist with preparation of quarterly estimatesWorking with high net worth families, closely held businesses, estates and trustsPerforming tax researchDevelop understanding of reporting requirements and due dates for different business entitiesStaying current on tax legislation relevant to Private Client Service clientsQUALIFICATIONS
Experience with tax preparation and tax preparation software is a plusExperience with small public accounting is preferable.Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent designations (or candidates for these positions) are a plus
