Job Overview Registered Nurse - Med Surg Neuro:Join our client s dynamic healthcare team in Iowa, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg Neuro. In this temporary role, you will provide top-notch care to patients with neurological conditions, working in a fast-paced environment that demands critical thinking and compassionate care.

Compensation: $45/hourLocation: Des Moines, IASchedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse - Med Surg Neuro:

Patient Care:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.Monitoring & Assessment:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and perform neurological assessments regularly.Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.Medication Administration:

Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following established protocols.Education:

Provide patient and family education regarding care plans, treatments, and lifestyle adjustments.Documentation:

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and treatment plans.Qualifications for the Registered Nurse - Med Surg Neuro:

Experience:

Up to 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or neurological nursing required.Certifications:

Must have current BLS and NIHSS certifications.Skills:

Strong clinical skills in neurological assessments, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.Attributes:
