We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the subacute unit at Patuxent Institution located in Jessup, Maryland. Please Note: this position requires a minimum of 18 months of prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.QualificationsActive Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of MarylandMust have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificateMust be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicableMinimum of eighteen (18) months' experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting Available ShiftWeekdaysDay shifts 16 hours per weekCenturion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
