Scope of Clinical Dutiespatient volume will be 12 to 16 per day, depending on mix
medication managementcertification for medical cannabiseducation/counselingmonitoring of medication compliance via PDPM and urine drug screensminor proceduresreferral to CRNA colleagues for interventions (e.g., epidural steroid injections at various spinal levels, radiofrequency ablation, facet blocks, SI injections, intercoastal blocks) or other services (e.g., ketamine or lidocaine infusions).
Provides office-based pain management services to new and established patients (adults)May perform minor procedures, including:
trigger point injectionsjoint injectionsoccipital blockscold ablation (Iovera), and Botox for headaches or chronic pain, depending on experience/skills of candidate.May use ultrasound guidance for selected procedures.Performance of procedures is not required.
