As a Web and API QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products. In this role, you will work with the latest Microsoft technologies, including .Net, Visual Studio, MS SQL, MVC, WCF, Web API, Azure, Xamarin, and custom ASP.Net. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the accuracy of our delivered products, applications, and systems to ensure they meet business requirements and conditions of acceptance. Key tasks involve testing both the front-end and back-end of web applications, cross-browser testing, and API testing, while striving to improve test efficiency through effective solutions. We are seeking a candidate passionate about maintaining automation frameworks, writing automation test scripts, and upholding the highest quality standards for our deliverables. This is a hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, create, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and automated regression test scripts using tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps, Postman, Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Test Complete.Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Development Managers to identify and resolve problems.Develop, implement, and maintain test cases and test scripts for API and web applications.Work within Agile Project Management (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments, ensuring integration and regression testing before product launches.Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all departments.Assist in developing systematic approaches to ensure high-quality services and align processes for optimal results.Report and track issues in software and requirements.Requirements
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.2-5 years of experience in Web Application/API Testing.Strong knowledge of API/Web Application automation testing.Proficiency in relational databases like MS SQL Server, Postgres SQL, MySQL, and SQLite.Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.Knowledge of non-relational database systems like Cosmos, Redis Cache, and MongoDB.Strong understanding of the Software Testing lifecycle and methodologies.Experience in analyzing software features and functional requirements, designing, planning, updating, and executing test cases.Extensive experience in bug reporting, issue tracking, verifying bug fixes, and coordinating testing activities with developers and QA teams.Preferred
Experience in mobile application testing for iOS and Android.Experience testing APIs for mobile applications using tools like Postman.Experience or knowledge in Load/Stress Testing, API performance testing, and Penetration/Security Testing.Benefits
