Platform Software Engineer

As a
Platform Software Engineer
at SRT, a BlueHalo Company, you will play a pivotal role in our research and product development initiatives. You will collaborate with hardware prototypes and lab test equipment, integrate Linux kernel versions, and optimize system performance. Your expertise in Linux architecture, embedded systems, and debugging will be instrumental in driving innovation and maintaining our competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities:A team player who can build/release software environment for custom hardware.Design, implement, and debug software on Linux platforms.Administration of Linux/Unix environment/deployment.Work with hardware prototypes and associated lab test equipment.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience.Knowledge of different Linux distributions (e.g. CentOS, Ubuntu).Experience with TCP/IP Networking and iptables configuration.Experience with Embedded Systems.Familiarity with C/C++ development.Experience with scripting in Linux/Unix such as Bash, Python, RegEx, Sed, AWK, etc.Experience controlling hardware devices using protocols such as: I2C, SPI, USB, PCI-E, etc.Familiarity with:
Knowledge of Linux drivers and associated hardware.Experience with Docker development.Familiarity with U-Boot configuration.Experience with SQL Databases.Experience with version control (e.g. git).Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, JavaScript)
