Must be available within 15 minutes by phone and within a 30 minute radius from the VA Call hours are routinely 4:30pm-7am Schedule OR Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7am-4pm (must arrive at minimum 20 minutes prior to starting each shift). There will be a minimum of 2 physicians onsite dailyRequirements Medical degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a residency/fellowship program in Urology Board certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology Active and unrestricted medical license to practice anywhere in the USA BLS certification Experience in diagnosing and treating various urological conditions Proficiency in performing urological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures Familiarity with the latest advances and research in urology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Compassionate and patient-centered approach Duties: Diagnose and treat patients with urological conditions, including performing surgeries and procedures Conduct physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in urology, attending conferences and continuing education events Educate and provide counseling to patients regarding their urological conditions and treatment options Participate in research and clinical trials to contribute to the field of urology
