Aspire Medical Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our team at the VA Healthcare System in Columbia, SC. As a Urologist with Aspire Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive urological care to veterans with a wide range of conditions.You will work in collaboration with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat urological disorders, perform surgeries, and provide follow-up care to patients. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technologies to deliver the highest quality care.We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating various urological conditions. Join our team at the VA Healthcare System in Columbia, SC and make a difference in the lives of our veterans.LOCATION:VAMC Columbia, VA Healthcare System6439 Garners Ferry RoadColumbia, SC 29209SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm On-call and call-back coverage (annual total of 1,000 hours): on a rotational basis. Must be available within 15 minutes by phone and within a 30 minute radius from the VA Call hours are routinely 4:30pm-7am Schedule OR Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7am-4pm (must arrive at minimum 20 minutes prior to starting each shift). There will be a minimum of 2 physicians onsite dailyRequirements Medical degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a residency/fellowship program in Urology Board certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology Active and unrestricted medical license to practice anywhere in the USA BLS certification Experience in diagnosing and treating various urological conditions Proficiency in performing urological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures Familiarity with the latest advances and research in urology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Compassionate and patient-centered approach Duties: Diagnose and treat patients with urological conditions, including performing surgeries and procedures Conduct physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in urology, attending conferences and continuing education events Educate and provide counseling to patients regarding their urological conditions and treatment options Participate in research and clinical trials to contribute to the field of urology
