This includes interpreting the data from heart rhythm monitoring (EKG) systems, managing medication regimens, and providing critical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. The Registered Nurse will continuously be monitoring patients vitals (heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure) using advanced telemetry equipment and detect and respond to abnormal heart rhythms and other cardiovascular complications.The Registered Nurse in Telemetry will need to act swiftly in emergency situations to provide immediate care, perform life-saving interventions, and take part in code blue or rapid response teams as needed.By becoming part of our Telemetry team, you will play a vital role in delivering specialized cardiac care and ensuring patient safety and recovery.#LI-AM5We are looking for #RN or #registerednurse to work on our #tele or #telemetry unit to help patients with #cardiac issues and monitor #EKG.Qualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.4. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.6. Ventilator Management experience preferred.7. Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
