POSITION SUMMARYThe Physician/Urologist is responsible for providing urological care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. The Physician follows federal/state laws and regulations to ensure excellent patient relations. The Physician will be responsible for the evaluation and management of patients with urological disorders including, but not limited to performance of cystoscopy, transurethral surgeries, nephrectomy, vasectomy, varicoceles, advanced pediatric surgery, pyeloplasty, epispadias, hypospadias repair, and gender assignment. Communication with other physicians, staff, and patients is paramount in this position to ensure that patient needs are met effectively and efficiently.

What you will be doingDiagnose or treat diseases or disorders of genitourinary organs and tracts including erectile dysfunction (ED), infertility, incontinence, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, urethral stones, or premature ejaculation.Document or review patients' histories.Order and interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening, to detect prostate cancer.Perform abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries.Examine patients using equipment, such as radiograph (x-ray) machines and fluoroscopes, to determine the nature and extent of disorder or injury.Treat lower urinary tract dysfunctions using equipment such as diathermy machines, catheters, cystoscopes, and radium emanation tubes.Prescribe or administer antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infection or injury.Provide urology consultation to physicians or other health care professionals.Treat urologic disorders using alternatives to traditional surgery such as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, laparoscopy, and laser techniques.What you bring to the teamCurrent DEA LicenseCandidates must be board-certified/eligible in UrologyCurrent California Physician LicenseCompletion of a residency program in UrologyWhat we can offer youCompetitive Salary and Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)Generous time off (start accruing on your first day - no waiting period)Paid Holidays401(k)Company DiscountsCollaborative work environment - we want our employees to have a say in how we run our office.Employee Recognition - we encourage employee recognition through our GEMS program.Please note that actual pay will be determined based on the relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range.
