We are currently seeking experienced Estimators at various levels to join our expanding team in White Plains, NY, serving projects across the New York 5 Boros and nationwide.
Position Overview:
We are looking for skilled Estimators who are adept in either all trades or specifically focused on interiors. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with projects in commercial, corporate environments, fast-track retail, national brand retail, healthcare, and storage. If you are driven, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we would like to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough reviews of project documents to accurately determine the scope of work.Execute detailed quantity take-offs across various CSI sections.Provide conceptual estimates to guide project budgeting and negotiate privately.Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage of all project facets.Analyze subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure complete and fair pricing, and prepare detailed comparison sheets.Maintain well-organized records of all estimation documentation and communications.Collaborate with project teams to assist with change orders and define subcontract scopes as projects evolve.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.2-10 years of experience in commercial building construction estimating.Proficient with Microsoft Office and On-Screen Takeoff software or similar.Demonstrated experience with both publicly negotiated and GMP contract methods.Exceptional organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Why Join Us?
