STS Construction Services is looking for an experienced residential estimator to join our residential estimating team.
We specialize in remodels and new construction for residential and commercial properties. We are committed to craftsmanship and having a team/family-oriented environment!
What Does An Estimators Day Look Like?
Respond to leads and set up walkthroughs with potential clientsRead/review project plans and assist with assembly of bid proposalSolicit subcontractor bidsPerform quantity take-offs, double check sub-contractor takeoffsAnalyze quotations and negotiate pricing from subcontractors & suppliers.Communicate with architects and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials, and conflict resolution.Develop value engineering opportunities to present to the client and architectAssist in preparing requests for proposalsPresent proposals to potential customersCoordinate project hand-offs with Project ManagersQualifications:
5+ years of general construction experience3+ years experience bidding on custom home ground up and/or remodel projectsExperience With Estimating Software and Microsoft Office SuiteBuildertend experience is a plusValid Drivers LicenseWhat We Offer:
