The Salesforce Developer provides the expertise and skillset necessary to both manage and model
operational data for MED-Project USA. The Developer will collaborate with our Salesforce System
Architect and System Administrator, to design, develop, and implement customized solutions within
the Salesforce platform. They will work with stakeholders, business analysts, and end-users to
gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet the organizations needs.
The Salesforce developer will ensure data models, relationships and validation rules provide accurate
data outcomes. This role also contributes to the build process to ensure seamless integration with
other external systems and applications, automation platforms, and/or customer support tools. They
will perform unit testing to confirm the quality and functionality of developed solutions, identify and fix
any issues before deploying a new application or feature as part of the organizational change
management process.
Additionally, they will maintain a state of constant connection with end-users to provide support and
identify potential threats to system platform performance, scalability, and security.
The Salesforce Developer directly reports to the Senior Director, Data Services and Project
Management CoE (DSPMO).

Experience with Lightning Web Components or web development is desirable. Familiarity with data architecture and reporting. Salesforce Platform Developer and/or Salesforce App Builder Certifications. Experience working in highly regulated environments and interacting with regulators and/or state agencies. Familiarity with ITIL and change management concepts and processes. Experience using SDLC and task management applications. Preference for Smartsheets, Jira, and Confluence. Exceptional in project management and task tracking, including communicating expectations and deadlines to a larger team. Data Security As part of the business operations, MED-Projects temporary employees need to obtain and process data. The classification of this data helps determine what baseline security controls are appropriate for safeguarding the data. Information is classified according to the risks associated with the data being stored or processed. All temporary employees have a responsibility to comply with MED-Projects Policies and Procedures, to handle all data consistently with the principles set out therein and to ensure that measures are taken to protect sensitive data. MED-Project managers are responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance. Travel Depending on location, this position may require limited domestic travel throughout the year to support the business. ADA Specifications This position requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 pounds. Develop and apply advanced Salesforce functionality to solve business problems and create customized solutions. Create technical requirements and specifications as needed to participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment. Analyze and assess technical strategy with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure customer success. Collaborate with others to design and/or develop Apex code, third-party integrations, flows, APIs, and other Salesforce centered processes. Work with the Salesforce Architect and technical teams to finalize architectural specifications - and create solution and integration designs. Develop proofs of concept as needed during the design and requirements phase to evaluate products and integration strategies and validate application code using existing testing protocols. Maintain internal Salesforce instances, including participation in long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving company goals and requirements. Respond to end-user and/or customer requests for support received via ticketing system. Identify and resolve defects encountered during various stages of builds and project delivery. Produce project documentation, including functional and technical designs, and end-user guides. Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluate, and provide recommendation for implementation based on organization's needs. Collaborate with others to improve overall Salesforce platform performance, scalability, and security. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree OR equivalent education/experience. 4+ years of professional object-oriented Salesforce development experience. Advanced proficiency with Salesforce flows. Proficiency with Apex, Java or C#; SOQL or SQL and APIs. Expert understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies and associated applications. Comfortable taking the initiative in a fast-paced environment to independently prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness under pressure. Strong written and spoken communication skills. High dedication to a culture of excellence, collaboration, and optimization. Ability to influence others and foster a positive working environment. Comfortable working in a virtual environment and with domestic travel to the degree appropriate to support the business. Exceptional in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). English language skills - fluent written and verbal communication
