The primary function of the Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) program (formerly Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC) is to operate and maintain the single authoritative data repository responsible for the implementation of all required data protections necessary to ensure secure archival and distribution of historical, current and future Missile Defense System (MDS) test data.**This role is contingent upon contract award**Responsibilities
Ensures data is gathered and evaluated promptly and in line with predefined quality standards.Helps resolve technical or administrative challenges related to gathering and sharing data.Uses conventional data collection tools to analyze data on a daily basis, reviewing reports and surveys from data collection systems to ensure data and responses meet quality, accuracy, and completeness criteria.Utilizes analytical skills in data collection tools and statistical methods to support the RDT&E community in analyzing data and uncovering trends.Automates processes, including data cleaning and generating analysis reports, whenever feasible.Implements solutions for data collection and analysis while adhering to industry best practices.Qualifications
B.S. degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field. Desired M.S. degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field.Active Secret Clearance2+ years data analysis experience and demonstrated expertise in relevant software development frameworks.Software programing experience (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, R).Candidate should demonstrate abilities to understand difficult problems, distill large amounts of data, derive relevant conclusions from data analysis, and communicate results effectively.Motivated self-starter who is able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, often with minimal guidance and within rigid timelines.Ability to communicate requirements clearly with external partners.Apply their skills in a fast-paced environment where more than one project may require their attention at any given time.Experience with the MS Office Suite of products.#LI-AS1
