Position: Source Inspection
Location: South Bend,IN
Duration: 1 Year
Frequency: 1 Visits a month 4 hours each– Part Time – Contract Assignment - 1099.
Position Overview:
The quality inspector shall travel to various supplier facilities to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
The inspector will be required to report inspection accept / reject information directly to the customer via web application.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong Attention to Detail
Coordinate quality activities with customers and suppliers.
Required Qualifications:
Mechanical Knowledge
FAI experience
Chemical Plating experience
welding inspection experience
Will be working as an independent contractor (1099).
Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
