Sr. Tax Accountant

Montgomery, AL ! You'll be responsible for analyzing and reporting financial information, preparing analyses, and returns, and supporting other business units with your wide range of knowledge.

Compensation:
$70 - 85K/year + opportunity for annual bonuses.
What you'll be doing:
Handle intricate internal and external financial data adhering to accounting rules, regulations, and tax laws in a controlled setting.Prepare income tax accruals, adjustments, and forecasts.Compile federal and state income tax filings.Craft STAT and GAAP tax notes for financial reports.Analyze IRC for tax return preparation.Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend work.
What you'll need to be considered:
CPA Certification, required .BS in Accounting, Finance, or related is required.3 years of similar work experience in Corporate Tax.Strong Excel is required. (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)Strong knowledge of GAAP and SAP (Statutory Accounting Principles)Excellent verbal and written communication.What could set you apart:
Public Accounting and/or Insurance Accounting exp.Experience with PeopleSoft ERP.
