As a Pediatrics-focused General Dentist, you will play a vital role in helping kids and their parents develop excellent habits in oral health. Provide diagnosis and comprehensive professional dental treatment plans, utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques. Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment while ensuring strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations.

Requirements for this position include a passion for improving kids' oral health, a DDS or DMD from an accredited program, an active or pending license issued by the state board of dental examiners, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire for professional growth. A superior knowledge of dentistry, organization skills, and the ability to foster an environment of learning for dentists, patients, and dental professionals are essential.

In a typical day, you'll handle approximately 10 operative patients, performing procedures such as SSCs, NuSmile anterior crowns, composite restorations, space maintainers, extractions, protective stabilization, nitrous oxide administration, and emergency visits. Additionally, you'll conduct around 25 hygiene exams and foster an environment where dentist externs, assistant externs, and others regularly rotate through our practices.

This position requires a full range of body motion, including sitting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, using hands repetitively, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Key Responsibilities:

Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and carry out services and treatment plans.Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including restorative, crown and bridge, endodontic, and extractions as per their comfort level.Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and practice policies.Maintain accurate patient records.Collaborate with other dental professionals in the practice to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.Stay up to date with the latest developments in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.Valid state dental license in KS.Active DEA and CPR.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working with computer technology.Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
