Company: MCI - Mechanical Contractors LLCOverall Position DescriptionMCI seeks skilled piping installers for a mid to entry-level position in the construction of commercial HVAC Systems. The position reports to the Pipefitting Foreman and is located in Charlotte, NC.

Key Job Responsibilities
Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending various sizes of pipe and tubing to the required angle using pipe cutters, and pipe-threading machines.
Welding carbon steel pipe using mig, tig, or stick
Copper Brazing for refrigerant piping, copper soldering for hydronic pipe.
Threading, and assembling threaded black pipe.
Desired Skills and Experience
2 years of field mechanical trade experience.
Must possess a current valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a drug test and comprehensive background check.
Must be physically able to complete all necessary piping tasks for an 8 hour work period.
Flexibility for travel and working overtime/weekends, as required.
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to pass a welding test.
Personal Characteristics and Expectations
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Communicates well with co-workers, managers, and occasionally customers.
