Cloud Solutions Project Manager
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.
Requires a Top-Secret Clearance.
Cherokee Nation System Solutions is seeking two experienced Cloud Solution Project Managers to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Agile Scrum processes, project scheduling, risk management, and cloud environments. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Cloud Solutions Project Manager : Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Cloud Solutions Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage Agile Scrum processes including story creation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, story point estimation, and evaluation of stories for features and epics.Evaluate and document new products and processes for integration with existing systems to enhance efficiency, supportability, cost-effectiveness, and security.Develop work breakdown structures, critical paths, and resource need estimates using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools for project schedule and cost estimates, including experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).Determine resource capacity and Agile iteration velocity, and conduct long-term roadmap and personnel planning.Manage project and product risks including risk register management, mitigation development, and resolving activated risks.Oversee solutions implemented in cloud environments, with a technical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing techniques, and cloud cost management.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requires a Top-Secret Clearance.8+ years of experience with Agile Scrum processes and rituals including story creation, backlog refinement, sprint planning including story point estimation, and evaluation of stories for features and epics.6+ years of experience evaluating and documenting new products and processes for integration with new and/or existing systems to improve efficiency, supportability, cost, or security.8+ years of experience developing work breakdown structures, critical paths, and resource need estimates using Microsoft Project or equivalent for project schedule and cost estimates, including experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).6+ years of experience determining resource capacity and Agile iteration velocity, including long-term roadmap and personnel planning.5+ years of experience managing project and product risks including risk register management, mitigation development, and resolving activated risks.4+ years of experience managing solutions implemented in cloud environments, with technical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing techniques, and experience understanding and reporting on cloud costs.Active Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is preferred.Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
