This mission inspires each of us to unlock the leader in everyone - including you!The opportunity:As a Sr. Employee Relations (ER) Manager, you will serve as the main point of contact to provide specific expertise in employee relations, investigations, and HR risk management. This role will focus on the inquiry and resolution of a wide range of employee concerns to protect and nurture a healthy company culture. Additionally, this role will provide programmatic and project support related to employee relations work, including responsibility for the strategies and initiatives that evolve the function of employee relations at HBP. This dynamic opportunity combines your deep expertise in employee relations with HR program and project management experience in support of employee relations projects. You will take a customer-first approach and thrive in a fast-paced business environment.What you'll doLead and manage complex workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant laws.Develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives to promote a positive workplace environment.Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on handling employee relations issues and conflict resolution.Collaborate with the Legal team to escalate issues and train HR team members on conducting thorough investigations.What you'll bringComprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., Wage and Hour regulations, ADA, FMLA).Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.You'll stand out if you haveExperience working with international teams.What we offer:As a mission-driven global company, Harvard Business Publishing is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, trust, and engagement where everyone is welcome, valued, respected, and feels they belong. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
