SEIU Local 509 Community Health LinkThis position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process.Responsibilities:Assist with intake processes.Provide direct supervision for and assist clients with daily living needs.Work with adolescents in a one-to-one setting.Assist staff in conducting effective group sessions.Contribute to the overall success of a multi-disciplinary team including attendance at team conferences.Complete all required paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.Demonstrate outstanding communication skills.Qualifications:Grade C02: Residential Counselor I:
HSD/HiSet/GED or Associates degree required.Grade C04: Residential Counselor II:
Requires a Bachelor's degree; preferably in the field of psychology or human services.Desire to serve others required.Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and ability to contribute to team objectives required.Preference will be given to those with experience in social services and/or working with the program's population.All bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.All candidates will be subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.Community Healthlink is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
