In this position, you will provide quality care to residents to facilitate growth and development of the skills necessary for independent living through training and assistance in core service areas.The Residential Counselor records, monitors, and reviews Individual Service Plans/Residential Habilitation Plans for assigned caseload. You will also work with residents to foster growth and independence per Individual Service Plans. The Residential Counselor monitors medications for residents as needed under the guidance of Residential Management.Residential Counselors conduct visits with residents. Train, assist, and monitor residents in social skills, personal budget development, preparation of weekly menu plans, food shopping, use of public transportation services, planning and implementing recreational activities or others areas needing assistance or support.Full-Time: 8 and 10 hour shifts available.Benefits:Generous PTO packageHolidaysMedical, Dental, Life InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountTuition Assistance403(b) Retirement PlanResidential Counselor Rates range: $16.64 - $18.30 commensurate with years of service as a Residential Counselor at Gateway.Qualifications
