Joining Settle as an early

Senior/Staff Software Product Engineer

you will play a key role in shaping and constructing impactful, results-driven systems, products, and features. With a solid product-market fit, organic growth, and a comprehensive long-term roadmap, you'll be part of a dynamic team driving Settle's success.

We want someone who is iterative in their approach, moves with agility, and places the customer at the forefront of their decision-making process.What you'll do:Design and build data models, services, and APIs to power our web-app.Scale and secure our systems to support an increasing number of users, features, business requirements, partners, and engineers.Ensure seamless communication and effective collaboration with Product and Design teams in developing customer/user-facing functionality for our app.Collaborate with fellow engineers to build robust testing, integration, and deployment frameworks.Ability to independently drive and architect projects to completion, while effectively communicating ideas and progress to both technical and non-technical colleagues.What you'll need:4+ years

of industry experience, preferably in the B2B fintech and/or startup sectorTechnical requirements:

Full-stack experience with a willingness to work on the front end, we use React and Node JS. Proficiency in CS fundamentals and Ruby on Rails (our primary backend language), along with mastery of OOP principles. Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Django, Laravel, Sinatra, Flask, or Symfony.Web-app architecture design.

You have curiosity or understanding of how everything fits together from web services up through display and love designing reliable and extensible systemsAdaptability.

This annual starting salary range for Senior and Staff levelings is $160,000 - $225,000 + equity + benefits. Compensation may exceed this range for exceptional, experienced candidates joining above the posted levels.
