This is an on-site role at our resort in Round Rock, Texas. This position is responsible for prospecting, booking, and retaining all group social events and celebrations in the waterpark and Tom Foolery's Adventure Park. Your primary objective is to prospect, develop, and maintain accounts through direct sales efforts and to ensure budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded. This is a sales and servicing position, responding to guest inquiries and preparing details to enhance the fun for contracted groups. You will be organizing group resumes, coordinating, and executing group events alongside waterpark and amusement operations.Qualifications:Two to four years of hands-on amusement/waterpark operations experience with some responsibility for pricing. Experience in Hotels/resorts preferred. Experience in sales, including prospecting, is preferred.Highly computer literate with an outstanding command of ExcelSkilled in oral/written communication and listening. Bilingual skills helpfulExcellent organizational, problem solving, supervisory, and time management skills requiredExperience with guest relations and detailed cross-departmental communicationFlexible and long hours are sometimes required, including weekends and holidaysAbility to move frequently throughout a very large resort propertyThis position has a direct reporting line to the Sales Director and a dotted reporting line to the Waterpark Director Theme Park Director.
