I am the Chief CRNA at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC. I was born and raised from Augusta, Georgia; the home of the Masters...and James Brown. I practiced as a Registered Nurse for 10 years in a burn ICU before going to anesthesia school. I received my MSN from Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta Georgia. I absolutely love being a CRNA; it's the best career move I've ever made. I moved to North Carolina 11 years ago; specifically, for a CRNA position at ARMC. I absolutely love my co-workers and working at ARMC; also, another good career move! I am the youngest of six children; all of my family/siblings are in Georgia. I have three children (ages 29, 16, and 9); two boys and a girl. I am an avid DIYer. I am trying to complete my PHD...in crafting...PROJECTS HALF DONE! My happy place is my craft room; where I have several projects going at the same time. I love to create and see my vision come to life. My crafting includes anything from painting, woodworking, scrapbooking, and crocheting; creating fabulous gifts for family and friends. Although some of my projects are not winners, I challenge myself to improve my skills to make it 10 times better. My second happy place is the BEACH. I cannot swim; however, I love to relax by the ocean, listen to the waves, soak up the sun...and of course...PEOPLE WATCH!!! In all of my DOWN time, I also love to skate. It was a childhood activity that I'd always enjoyed doing and an activity my children and I consistently engaged in together. I also enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, and murder mystery games.Team HighlightsWorking within a care team model, our staff consists of a diverse group of anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
