OASIS employs over 1,700 Team Members & offers its services to over 10,000 clients throughout several industries with particular emphasis in the financ **Show more** **Description****The Role**The LGV/Shred Driver is responsible for onsite shredding and delivering and collecting lorry loads of pallets, utilising software to control movement at the box, file, tape & shredding levels while also having the responsibility of driving for deliveries and collections when required. This role requires an early start time of 4pm and flexibility of working hours across 4/5 days depending on workload.**Key Responsibilities*** Ensure all daily client work orders are filled upon receipt from Client Service.* Complete delivery runs to/from our valued clients as assigned by supervisor.* Interface with our valued clients during delivery runs* Ensure rush work orders are processed timely and accurately.* Comply with daily maintenance and safety checks of all record centre vehicles and equipment.* Help unload/load trucks/vans.* Operate forklifts and/or pick lifts.* Verify and load all orders per SOPs.* Complete daily safety inspection of assigned vehicle.**Candidate Requirements*** Previous experience of working in a Multi Drop operation service delivery role, preferably within the records management industry however not essential.* Full, clean category C driving licence must have a current DCPC and Digi card.* Previous experience of using a Shred truck advantageous, however training will be given.* Strong attention to detail essential.* Enthusiastic with the flexibility to work between multiple teams* Routine scanning of materials.* Routine pushing and pulling boxes and pallet jacks.* Ability to operate forklift and/or pick lift, however training will be given.**OASIS is an equal opportunities employer.****The Company is required by law to have proof of right to work in the country of residence, prior to commencement of employment.****For applicants residing within the UK, the Company is required to conduct a background screening check as set out by the British Standards Institution BS7858 prior to commencement of employment.****The Company confirm that our legitimate interests comply with GDPR and data protection*** Paid Time-Off for Vacation and Sick Days* EAP (Employee Assistance Programme)* Staff Discounts* Opportunites for advancement* Attractive Compensation Package* Work/Life Balance* Employee Recognition* Pension Scheme
