In addition, the University is part of the Five Colleges (including Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, and Smith College), which adds to the intellectual energy of the region.Job SummaryProvides assistance to the UCard Office in the maintenance of anticipated 25-30,000 cardholder accounts and in the production of 15,000 cards annually.Essential FunctionsOversees photo submission, approval, and office photo operations.Manages UCard production, distribution, and mailings.Tracks and manages badge, department debit card, and associated deposit production.Maintains and oversees UCard Office equipment and orders UCard Office supplies.Handles individual and bulk debit account closures, refund requests, and fee submissions.Performs kiosk deposit pick-ups and reconciliation weekly.Prepares and delivers UCard deposits to the Bursar's Office, maintaining physical and electronic records.Maintains, culls, and digitizes UCard file archives.Recruits, trains, schedules, and supervises student staff.Manages UCard Office email account, responding to inquiries promptly and assists student staff with phone and in-person inquiries.Collaborates with UCard Manager, Bursar's Office, and AFIT staff.Assumes UCard Office management responsibilities in the Manager's absence.Supports Departmental and University Affirmative Action policies.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)Complete knowledge of University rules and regulations relating to the issuance of UCards.Operation and maintenance of equipment and software not normally found in most University Offices.Knowledge of regulations concerning UCard Office financial duties.Knowledge of hiring policies relating to student employees.
