Duties and Responsibilities
The Division of Cardiology at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine announces its search for a general (non-invasive) cardiologist. This is an opportunity to join a collegial practice with excellent growth potential. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates who have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship training program in cardiovascular diseases will be considered. The candidate will be joining a thriving cardiology practice with support of a nationally recognized heart surgery program that has an established heart transplant program. Loyola cardiology enjoys big clinical volumes in heart surgery, structural heart, PCI, and EP procedures. Cardiology has off sites clinics as well as the heart and vascular clinic on the Maywood campus. Loyola cardiology continues to be at the forefront cardiovascular disease care.
A highly competitive benefits package including institutional malpractice coverage and salary commensurate with experience and time in rank is available. Clinical and basic science research opportunities, as well as educational opportunities in our fellowship, residency and medical student training programs exist.

Loyola Cancer Care & Research Facility at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center . MacNeal is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, an inpatient skilled nursing facility and a 68-bed behavioral health program and community clinics.
