If you have experience with vehicles, buses, snow cats, heavy equipment and small engines, this might be the right fit for you! ESSENTIAL DUTIES Supervise shop floor mechanics and ensure all mechanics are complying with safety and company directionsEnsure proper maintenance and repairs of all equipmentSchedule all maintenanceOrder, maintain and ensure accuracy of parts inventoryRecord and manage all repair orders in NAPA TRACSPerformance evaluations of your shop floor mechanics and all reporting employeesOperate equipment in a safe an efficient mannerAssist in parts room as neededOversee all repair orders for accuracyManage all vehicle shop shipping and receivingCreating, sending, and managing all invoicesCommunicating and engaging with employees outside the departmentEnsure the shop floor is clean and all work areas are looking professionalCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties, as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to run and operate heavy equipment requiredMechanical course and 5 years' experience requiredPrevious supervisory skills and experience required ; you are a self-motivated, Leader with good communicationsMechanical course and 3 years SNOWCAT' experience requiredAbility to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standardsAbility to be a consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standardsAbility to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workersEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GEDThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $25.99 - $37.43 per hour. We are offering a $5000.00 signing bonus for this role - $2500 on your first check, and $2500 after your 90 day review. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand and walk around for an extended period of timeMust meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver's license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is requiredMust be a minimum of 18 years of ageMust be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and writtenThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
